Artist Statement

 

I strive to achieve depth, luminosity and balance into my work. The idea is to create a sense of space that will hopefully trigger a sensory response in the viewer. Objects such as parchment, stones and marble, living organisms found in nature, things that hold energy feed my inspiration. The Abstraction form allows for the intangible thought to become a third thing; the painting.
